Raising Nigerian Dwarf Goats and Enjoying a Semi Self-Sufficient Lifestyle

Along with the Nigerian Dwarf goats, we have found a special love for Chihuahuas.

What began as a rescue mission with two pregnant, pure-bred chihuahuas, has developed into a life-long love for this silly, fun-loving little breed . Mark thought he would never like small breed dogs.  In fact , besides me, Mark has found a special little lady that is near and dear to his heart, our little "Choo-Choo". She came to live with us when a woman with five children was losing their home; she had to find homes for all their pets. Choo-Choo was just a couple of weeks pregnant when she came to be with us. What gorgeous puppies she had and even more importantly, what wonderful families they went to live with.

We also acquired "Bella", a wonderfully sweet blue and tan female, that no doubt had lived in a crate most of her life. She could barely walk any distance and couldn't even manage to climb up or down on two steps. She was about 5 weeks into her pregnancy when we brought her home.  She now runs and plays in our home and on the farm and has become bedtime sleeping partners with Rachel.

The minute I saw Skorie's picture I fell in love with her. I had never seen a blue merle Chihuahua - what an amazing mix of colors. She is so smart and funny. These little dogs are not only wonderful pets but have become members of our family. We want to thank those people, who during their economic hardship, had to give up their pets thus allowing us to become it's new owners.

We also have a love for our Toy Poodles- I purchased Zasha from a Toy Poodle breeder in Eastern Washington- She looked like a little ragdoll when we brought her home- not at all like a Toy Poodle- I guess I had forgotten what a good haircut will do! She's very beautiful, very sweet, and is so loving. She is just as gentle as any creature can be and she's an excellent mother. She is double registered through AKC/CKC

"Teddy" is probably one of the most intelligent dogs I have ever known. He is a wonderful loving dog and I'm so glad that the lady from Oregon just about threw him in my arms and drove away. He loves attention- I think it's a Poodle thing- and is so eager to please. This is probably the one of the smartest dogs I've ever known. He has a wonderful disposition and temperament. I am blessed to own this little dog and almost feel sorry for the lady who handed him over to me- She just doesn't know what she missed out on.

I have some emails and pics I'd like to share from families who have purchased our pups in the past or just enjoyed our website

1.) Just wanted to give an update on "Oreo".  My mom is just so happy with him.  He is very mellow, submissive at the moment :) , but also knows what he wants and is not shy. He is loving with the grandkids and enjoys giving little kisses on the cheek.  He is enjoying running around the yard to explore and keeps trying to steal stuffed animals that are bigger than him.  It is hilarious.  Also running off with socks too.   I am so happy that she finally got the little parti that she has always wanted and could not ask for a better temperament.  Thank you so much.  We will keep in touch.  I have attached a pic of the grandkids holding him.  Jessica

2.)Your "Skory" is absolutely gorgous!!! I have a couple of blue & whites, but have never seen a blue merle. What a treat!! Thank you for sharing her.

3.) The picture below is of a little red female that we had planned to keep last year- her name was Tinkerbelle. I was contacted by a family in Anchorage, Alaska who wanted to purchase a puppy. I was sold out and explained all I had left was a little female I was thinking about keeping. Well to make a long story short, something told me they were really good people and they would provide a great home for Tink-  so off she went to Alaska and I cried. To this day I do not regret selling her to them. They keep me posted on her well-being and provide photos of her which I think is so considerate.  We want to thank you for being such wonderful, loving, and responsible owners...So here is the latest email and picture of Tinkerbelle now named...."Maui Waui"

Hello Patti, thought you would like something to put on your website about our little Maui.  So just cut and paste this next paragraph and attach the photo/file to it and I'm sure your followers will love to see this beautiful dog.

We would like to thank Mark and Patti Schuller for their commitment in breeding such fine animals, our Chihuahua is just simply perfect, Mark and Patti made the whole transaction from start to finish such a simple process.  Thank you Mark and Patti.
Our Chihuahua is what you would wish for when your wanting a breed of this type, she is beautiful, smart, fun, energetic and best of all she is truly a healthy animal/dog.  I know we will love and enjoy Maui for a long time to come.  I hope, and sure of, that anybody else who purchases a animal from Mark and Patti will enjoy the whole experience.

Once again, thank you
