We are proud to announce the purchase of two new bucks this year to ad as herdsires.

1.)Rosasharn M (undecided as yet): Chocolate and White. He should be here sometime in July- Can't wait!!!

Dam: ARMCH Rosasharn TL Almond Joy--took 1st place in the 5 & 6 yr.old class at the Nationals in Kentucky this year. Her Grand Dam "Rosasharn's Buckwheat Honey" won the ADGA Nat'l CH  at 10 yrs old- Congrads Rosasharn!!!

Wonderful line breeding on Tiger L, Buckwhat Honey, and Eclipse on both sides of the pedigree!!

 I can't wait to see him in person and watch him develop-then I can provide more info on him. We all know he will be improving everything about our udders, he has the length, his angulation looks great, and what a beautiful neck...He has his work cut out for him and with the Rosasharn herd name behind him, well, he can't possibly do anything but improvement- thanks again Anne                   

2.)Old Mountain Farm Erebus:  His pedigree speaks for itself. This young buck's wonderful genetics will be a great contribution to our herd. Erebus has a fantastic uphill stance and long level back that immediately catches your eye. He is wide in his chest and wide hock to hock and through the escutcheon area. The width in his chest and rear end is just unbelievable! He has nice sharp withers, wonderfully correct set legs, and awesome rear angulation. His tail is laid on a nice level rump and what a gorgeous head!!!  When he arrived here and stepped out of his crate Rachel said, "Oh my God, look at that neck!" Just so long and beautiful. His pedigree includes some of the best breeding animals at Old Mountain Farm.

His sire-Old Mountain Farm Nux Mochata is out of GCH 1*M ARMCH Old Mountain Farm Nutmeg, Cheryle's most accomplished doe. His sire, Old Mountain Farm Sage, is sired by Dawnland Tabby's Maritimer ( a Rosasharn Tom's Water Tabby son) out of 1*M Rosasharn FS Patchouli 6*D AR (sired by famous MCH Twin Creek's WB Fire Storm *S 'E'). Erebus's dam, Nemesis has just earning her milking star this year.  His granddam, NC Promisedland Echo 2, milked 1470 lbs. of milked as a 3yr. old (see record below). I believe this little boy is going to do some great things here. He will hopefully be improving udders, size of teats, milk volume and width thru-out.

 Thank you Keith and Marie for the pictures of "Chaos" at age 6 weeks  and at 2 days old.

Chaos is home. He is everything we hoped for and more!!! Wow- I can't believe what a beautiful buckling and personality to boot... I am estatic- thank you again Keith and Marie!! He definately will be our main herd sire. His lineage is exceptional. This fall he will be bred to many of our top does. The combining of these bloodlines should produce kids that will not only have outstanding pedigrees but have superb mammary systems and excellent conformation as well. I can hardly wait!!! Here are some new pics of Chaos enjoying alfalfa pellets...What a handsome boy he is!!!

It's just after Christmas 2009 and I still feel the same way about Chaos as I did the day he arrived- ecstatic!!!. Everyone just loves this little guy. He is one of the sweetest goats I've ever known. His first kids are due the end of Jan. and we can hardly wait to see them.

It's 2010 kidding season and so far we love what Chaos has produced, long level kids with great angulation and they just look good all the way around. He has not thrown many doelings this year so and we will have to wait on Rain to freshen to see what Chaos does in the milk management department...

    T-Man is an extremely long, level buck with a great uphill stance. He is wide in the rear, hock to hock and through the escutcheon area. He has loose, pliable  and wrinkly skin that is so soft that it amazed me. We are looking to get a few doelings out of T-Man as he comes from one of the very best milking/show herds here in the Northwest. When Mark and I saw him for the very first time- we were totally impressed- he is a magnificent looking animal. His sire is amazing and I feel lucky to have been able to find this buck and buy him. This past kidding season spring 2010, I was asked by numerous people, why I hadn't used "T-Man" more in my breeding program. At the advice of more knowledgeable breeders, I have decided to put T-Man to work as he has much to offer our breeding program in his great conformation and genetics.
